redline Redline Metro Accident One Year Anniversary

A year ago, today, the DMV experienced the most deadliest metro accidents ever. During rush hour on Monday, June 22, 2009 two metros collided on the redline taking the lives of 9 and injuring 80 people. Metro plans to honor the victims by holding a memorial ceremony at Fort Totten Park today at 10am. At this ceremony they will be unveiling a bronze plaque with the victim names. Remember the lives of the 9 victims of the accident…
