portis Clinton Apologizes for Cavemen Comments
Clinton Portis has apologized for remarks he made yesterday morning concerning reporter Ines Sainz and women reporters in locker rooms. Miss what he said? Find out.

What did Redskin’s RB Clinton Portis say:

“And I mean, you put a woman and you give her a choice of 53 athletes, somebody got to be appealing to her. You know, somebody got to spark her interest, or she’s gonna want somebody. I don’t know what kind of woman won’t, if you get to go and look at 53 men’s packages.”

Then his apology…

“I was wrong to make the comments I did, and I apologize,” Portis said in a statement released by the team. “I respect the job that all reporters do. It is a tough job and we all have to work and act in a professional manner. I understand and support the team on these issues.”

This is why we’ll never have any real change because men do believe that they can treat women any way they want to. This is why sexual violence against women is so high and this is why there are still efforts to keep women out of the workplace. This reporter (and all other reporters) was there to do a job and if a man can’t respect that then he needs help. As long as men feel like this is “just the way men are” then there is no incentive for them to change and become decent human beings.

That’s bull… There was nothing wrong with what Clinton Portis said… He’s jus simply stating the obvious… Plus, she even did an interview on the “Today” show sayin she really didn’t care for what the players were sayin to her and that she was blockin it out and focusing on the reason she was in there for… To interview Mark Sanchez… Yall jus quick to jump on some BS to make somethin Outta Nothin!!
