T.I. Gets 11 Months In The Slammer

tip2 T.I. Gets 11 Months In The Slammer

Isn’t it crazy that [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm]  just got out of jail on December 22nd then went to a halfway house to March 26th and is now headed back to slammer due to his inability to fly right?! Clifford “T.I.” Harris was sentenced to 11 months and you know he is trying to appeal it.

TMZ said that T.I. is in the works of appealing his 11 months sentence because he feels he needs help with his drug addiction rather than going back to jail. TMZ also said that one of the officers from the SUICIDE ATTEMPT plans to speak on T.I.’s behalf.

T.I. spoke following his sentencing saying…

“I screwed up. I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”

One of T.I.’s lawyers spoke on his drug addiction saying that he’s been on them for a long time, but really went off the wagon following his root canals and teeth extractions earlier this year bringing back on the addiction with the use of painkillers. The lawyer also proposed that the rapper do 6 months on house arrest and then turn himself into a drug rehabilitation following submitting urine screens three times a week.

However, the judge didn’t want to hear it being as though he had received many second chances. The judge didn’t even believe the suicide attempt that occurred last week. Judge Pannell added that he would’ve proposed a longer sentence back in 2007 if he knew that T.I. would end up back in his courtroom. He told T.I. that he will be on probation again after his release from prison and could get up to three years more time if he commits another offense. And he told the rapper that while on probation the next time, he is not to drive a car.

Look how Tiny and Monica looked following the sentencing.
