I always say, whatever you say on social sites, can and WILL be used against you. If you are not PR savvy or interpersonal it is best to keep your personal feelings to yourself. Case in point, Antonia “Toya” Carter. I don’t know her personally, and I am not going to judge her. Some comments she made via Twitter, have outraged a community.
Former wife of Lil’ Wayne, the mother to his 1st born/reality star of the show “Tiny and Toya” is in some pretty hot water. Not to take a soothing bath. But to calm down some HOT fans she may have ticked off by this statement she tweeted and deleted earlier today. Although her whereabouts were unknown this is what popped up under her “VERIFIED” account.
RT @antoniacarter: It breaks my heart to see kids under 18 Gay. #idontlikeit
A personal opinion gone social gone all wrong. Wow. If kids don’t have enough to think about as is, now they are being “NOT LIKED” by someone whom they possibly look up to?!&^##*( no bueno
Word from the wise, be careful in your word selection and being on Twitter or any other site trying to enlighten when your candle is going dim. I don’t think she meant any malice, because right after she deleted it, she apologized and said “she has gay friends”. So there is another box. I think those statements are the equivalent of a race saying “I have black friends.” People don’t want your opinion, unless they give it to you. I hope she learns from this lesson. She surely doesn’t have the same PR team as her EX. In my MOpinion.
