Tha Carter III came out 3 years ago and Weezy has YET to pay these people.

Producer David Kirkwood filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment imprint, as well as Cash Money Records. The lawsuit was filed on Friday (June 3rd) in New York Southern District Court and claims Lil Wayne’s label Young Money and Cash Money Records owe over $1.5 million in production services and royalties.

This is at least the third lawsuit over unpaid royalties and production services for Tha Carter III. In March, Weezy was sued by producer Darius “Deezle” Harrison for $20 million. Deezle claimed he was never paid for his work on Tha Carter III.

Producer Bangladesh also sued over Tha Carter III in 2007, claiming he was never paid for his work on the album either.

Lil Wayne, who is not mentioned in this particular lawsuit, is currently working on Tha Carter IV, which has a tentative release date of August 29th.
