Tupac Shakur

Better late than never. One of the parties allegedly involved in the 1994 shooting of West Coast rapper Tupac Shakur has finally come forward about the incident.

Dexter Isaac, who is currently serving life in prison for unrelated crimes, admitted on Wednesday that he was one of four men involved in the November 30th, 1994 shooting that started the whole East Coast/West Coast rivalry that eventually led to the deaths of both [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]2Pac[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Notorious B.I.G.[/lastfm]

The 1994 shooting, which Shakur survived, was ordered (according to Isaac) by music exec James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond. For his part, Isaac was allegedly paid $2,500.

According to AllHipHop.com, the aptly nicknamed “Henchman” is currently on the run from authorities in regard to a cocaine distribution charge.

Isaac says he’s coming clean now to give closure to Shakur’s mother. “I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman],” Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com from prison. “I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure.”

What a guy.
