[photogallerylink id=65120 align=left]Nick Cannon’s CBS Radios publicist’s statement was a disappointment to many listeners when Cannon never appeared on-air on January 9th like we were told.

When his CBS Radios publicist released a statement saying, “Nick Cannon, morning show radio host, of ‘Rollin With Nick Cannon’ on 92.3 NOW returns back on the air tomorrow, January 9th,” we all were waiting for Nick to be back on air after returning home from the hospital for “mild-kidney failure.”

5 am on January 9th came by and we were disappointed when Cannon’s energetic voice wasn’t playing from our radios. An updated statement was then released to explain why many listeners were disappointed because of his absence…

“Nick Cannon was not well enough to do his show this morning and cancelled last minute. More information on his condition and return will be sent once we get the details. Visit 923now.com for latest info. We apologize for the confusion.”

Just four days ago Nick tweeted, “Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH” I guess recovery for the eager host is going to take a bit longer than he thought.

Get better soon, Nick!
