According to the New York Daily News the musician and her fiancé have split and are currently living apart. While she is back home in London, Bronfman is in New York with their son, Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman, who turns three this weekend.

A source also mentions that M.I.A “sometimes goes six weeks without seeing” her son. The main mother figure in the three year old’s life is Bronfman’s mother, philanthropist Sherry Bronfman.

While M.I.A is living her life as a 36 year old entertainer, it’s sad that she chooses not to raise her little boy.
