[photogallerylink id=103900 align=left] She sold over 170 million albums worldwide, and Guinness World Records once cited her as the most-awarded female act of all time. But the voice is now silent.

Just last Saturday, Whitney Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hilton Hotel room, and today she was laid to rest in a private ceremony at New Hope Baptist Church In Newark, NJ.

The guest list included Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown, as well as her longtime producer Clive Davis, Dionne Warwick, Alicia Keys, Tyler Perry, Rickey Minor, CeCe Winans, Kim Burrell, and Donnie McClurkin.

Legendary R&B singer Stevie Wonder, along with Houston’s godmother, Aretha Franklin and Jennifer Hudson were also invited.

But they have changed their mind, granting access to The Associated Press, so fans around the world can also pay their last respects.

You can watch a video recap via the Associated Press Livestream feed from CBS New York.
