This weekend enjoy the funny man Donnell Rawlings for his “Ashy to Classy World Tour”.  You may remember Donnell from Chappelle’s Show, but if not go check him out! He’s very funny and tickets are just $20.

84th Academy Awards Live Viewing Night

Sunday, Feb. 26

This weekend the Oscars will air and lots of restaurants and bars in the DMV are hosting viewing parties and live coverage of the award show. The Hamilton is having a black-tie event complete with contests, music and more for just $25.

6th Annual Blacks in Wax
Southeast Tennis and Learning Center
Friday, Feb. 24

Tonight you can witness over 70 influential figures from black history come to life in a performance put on by children from the District. The line up includes everyone from Rosa Parks to Alicia Keys! This is a great event to celebrate Black History Month and it is absolutely free. Performances for the general public begin at 7pm.

Disney’s Phineas and Ferb

Sunday, Feb. 26

This children’s theater presentation of the Disney Channel’s animated show will bring the fun of summer vacation to the DMV this weekend. Tickets range from $22 to $50 and this kid- friendly event will be a great way to end your weekend.
