Tickets are still available to check out R&B Diva Ms. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lauryn Hill[/lastfm] this Wednesday at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. Tickets range from $50 to $150 and the show starts at 8pm. This is sure to be a great show, DMV!

David Simon: Dean’s Lecture
Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland
Thursday, March 1st

The creator of HBO’s The Wire and University of Maryland alum will be returning to his alma mater this week to deliver a lecture beginning at 5:30pm. The lecture will focus on Simon’s critique and analysis of the American inner city, the middle class and institutional failures of the 21st century. This event is absolutely free!

Friday, March 2nd

The Nickelodeon series that premiered in 2009 is indeed touring the country this month. The band is a tween favorite and they already have a list of high- ranking songs and albums. Take your kids to see their new favorite band headline their first tour this Friday. Show begins at 7pm.
