[photogallerylink id=70214 align=left]Details and recollections have been made during the trial of the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew. The trial has been taking place in Chicago, and will continue today. It has definitely been an emotional trial. The Hudson family has testified against Jennifer’s brother-in-law, William Balfour, and we have some inside details on what was said during the trial thus far.
Jennifer Hudson, 30, told the court:
“I told her over and over again to not marry him. We did not like how he treated her.”
Once Julia Hudson, Jennifer’s sister, took the stand. Julia confessed to the court that after her and William Balfour, back in February 2008, he threatened to kill her family. Julia recalled William saying:
“Julia, if you leave, I’ll kill you. I’ll kill your family first and then I’ll kill you – you will be the last to die.”
In addition to this brutal memory, Julia also mentions that Balfour threatened to harm the Hudson family over 25 times. Balfour’s defense was that Hudson’s brother was a drug dealer, and the murders were a deal gone wrong…
The trial continues today.
