Beastie Boys rapper, Adam Yauch, aka “MCA,” has just died. Find out what happened. #RIPMCA
It’s been 3 years since MCA announced he had cancer in 2009. He was being treated for, “ a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node. He has since undergone surgery and radiation therapy,” TMZ reports.
At this point in time, it is unknown if his cause of death is the cancer.
Beastie Boys was founded in 1979 by Yauch with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc. The legendary group has won numerous Grammys.
The rapper is survived by his wife and daughter.
