Ying Yang Twins rapper Deongelo Marquel “D-Roc” Holmes is facing some serious trouble. The energetic MC was reportedly arrested in Atlanta last week on charges of driving under the influence with drugs and his kids in his vehicle.

The arrest took place last Friday (June 1), but details of the DUI stop are just surfacing. Holmes was reportedly stopped by Gwinnett County police after he was allegedly seen swerving his SUV. According to the AJC, Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith told a local Atlanta station that the Yin Yang Twin did a “weave…He crossed the center line several times.”

When police spoke to Holmes, Smith said the officer “smelled alcohol. He smelled marijuana when the driver rolled down the window.” After doing a search of the car, the officer found marijuana, Zanex and 2-year-old and 3-year-old baby in car seats in the rear.

Holmes was immediately given a sobriety test, arrested and charged.

Holmes and his Dirty South rhyme partner Eric “Kaine” Jackson first burst on the scene with their 2000 dance anthem “Whistle While You Twurk.” The Yin Yang Twins went on to collaborate with crunk producer Lil’ Jon on their 2003 smash single “Get Low.”

Holmes has remained a player in the music game. He recently did a remix for Justin Bieber‘s latest hit “Boyfriend.” The song samples the Ying Yang Twins 2005 x-rated, strip club anthem “Wait (The Whisper Song).”—Keith Murphy, CBS Local
