After a 22 year ban, the International AIDS Conference returns to the States and is being held all this week at the Washington Convention Center. The offices are engaging in outreach activities in the community and are expecting more than 20 thousand delegates from over 200 Countries. 30% of DC residents are living with the virus so knowing your statues is vital to help prevent the spread of the disease. As Jamar Rogers tells us in this exclusive interview “I’ve been positive now for 6 years and I became ok with it about 2 years ago…” Rogers shared his statues with the world disclosing that he was positive while on stage during NBC’s The Voice, bringing the discussion of the disease to the doorsteps of American families nationwide.
