Miguel Shares Big Dream: “Unrepressed And Totally Creative”

Coming off this year’s ambitious critically acclaimed trio of free EPs Art Dealer Chic Vol.1, 2 & 3, Miguel will be dropping Kaleidoscope Dreams in three parts.  

The follow-up to Miguel’s 2010 debut, All I Want Is You, will be handled via Bystorm/RCA Records.The first set, Kaleidoscope Dream: Water Preview EP, will be made available on iTunes July 31.

Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview is set to follow September 11. And finally, Kaleidoscope Dream, due in stores October 2, will combine the two EP’s and feature five new songs.  

“I believe dreams represent the purest form of fantasy we unleash through our subconscious,” he said in a statement. “They represent the truest freedom we can experience. Totally unrepressed and totally creative.”

Kaleidoscope Dream will feature production from Pop & Oak (Kanye WestBig Sean), Salaam Remi (NasAmy WinehouseAdele), Jerry Wonda (the FugeesWyclef) and others. You can listen to a three-song preview on Spin. —Keith Murphy, CBS Local
