Crazy how your entire life can change in an instant. Before Saturday night, Chad Johnson aka OchoCinco had a wife, new reality show in the works and a job in the NFL. Now, not so much. He was arrested Saturday night after allegedly head-butting his new bride Evelyn Lozada in a car in front of their house. The argument was allegedly over a receipt for condoms.

Johnson was arrested on domestic violence charge and was released on a $2,500 bond yesterday. Following his release from jail, the Miami Dolphins announced that they were parting ways with Johnson, cleaning out his locker and pretty much telling him that he’s not welcome to their Dolphins facility.

Domestic abuse is a serious issue and it’s something that people should never make fun off but that didn’t stop twitter folks from going OFF. Many were saying that this is all a HUGE publicity stunt by Chad and Evelyn to promote their new reality show on VH1. I highly doubt that Chad would risk his NFL career and his future endorsements for a “publicity stunt”. I guess we’ll have to wait and see as this story develops.
