While Rick Ross and Young Jeezy did not face off in any of the BET Hip-Hop Awards categories, they did get into a scuffle backtstage at the show on Saturday (September 29).

Despite the tribute to deceased artist manager Chris Lighty, in which feuding rappers like 50 Cent and Fat Joe put aside their longstanding beef, the BET Hip-Hop Awards wasn’t all about burying the hatchet.  

Jeezy and Ross, who have had some bad blood bubbling between them for years, have reportedly knuckled up while at the show. Funkmaster Flex reported, via Twitter, from backstage.

But it wasn’t just the fight between rappers inside, there was a shot fired in the parking lot that caused the organizers to shut down the door. One man was reportedly arrested for the parking lot shots. And rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who was apparently outside around the time, was caught in the melee.

“I got mase in my eye,” MGK tweeted at 7:51. “That beef s**t just got real outside.”
