Machine Gun Kelly is one of Diddy’s Bad Boy rappers, but the “Bad Boy” title goes way past his record label. He recently explained why he stands by a recent wild performance at a Microsoft store, which led to him getting escorted out the store by police.
His on-stage conduct, included the rapper flipping the bird to one fan and jumping on the tables where computers were on display. After he released a tweet with an image from the show, he released a statement the following day, in which he said he meant no disrespect.
“There was some confusion as to where I should perform,” the statement read. “But, in the end, it was all resolved. I’d like to thank The Source for the opportunity and let the people at Microsoft know I meant no disrespect.”
When asked if his statement was an apology to Microsoft, MGK pushed back.
“I didn’t say that. I am a performer,” he told Jenny Boom Boom of Hartford’s 93.7. “I went to the store and went on the stage and saw a table and just hopped on it. I don’t need to apologize for not doing anything wrong. The only thing I did was stick up my middle finger to someone I didn’t know. So my bad to whoever that was… I was doing my thing.”

Machine Gun Kelly also recently performed at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will surely be another chance for the rapper to let his wild side free. While he was coy with the details of his performance, MGK dropped a clue on what fans can expect from his BET performance. “Someone had to pay $15,000 for a harness,” he said. –Tyler Roman, Hot 93.7/Hartford
