A surveillance video showing rapper Gunplay pulling out a gun on his accountant has hit the Internet. The animated footage shows Rick Ross’ protégé exploding in anger during in April meeting with his accountant.

The footage shows Gunplay, whose real name is Richard Morales, pulling out a gun in an office and threatening a man who is sitting behind the desk. He leaves with a chain and a phone that he reportedly took from the office. [See video here.] 

As last reported, Gunplay turned himself into Miami-Dade Police after he allegedly stole a cell phone and gold chain during the incident. The Def Jam artist, whose real name is Richard Morales Jr., was charged with armed robbery.

Gunplay also faces a second charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. An attorney representing the troubled MC said his client faces life in prison if found guilty on both counts. Gunplay’s arrest follows a fight with 50 Cent and his G Unit crew at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Video of the incident has also circulated across the Internet. —Keith Murphy, CBS Local
