Last week during Howard Homecoming, I partnered with celebrity blogger The Jasmine Brand to throw a VIP Girls Night Out for a few lucky DMV women and their best friends.

I wanted the entire experience to be about girl power so we had women enter our contest and tell us why their relationship with their best friends was so special. By the way…their stories were so touching and the girls that won were very deserving!

The evening started with dinner at Ulah Bistro (food and fancy signature Ciroc cocktails), make-up and lash service (compliments of Plush Beautiq). Then it was off to a popular DC night club (The Park at Fourteenth) with VIP table service, along with a “For Girls Only Gift Bag” (gifts included jewelry from Yandy Smith’s ‘Everything Girls Love’, African Pride hair products, gift certificates from Plush, cup cakes from ‘Pretty Girl Cup Cakery’, safe sex goodies, nail polish and make-up).
