Trey Songz was arrested for making it rain in a Queens, NY strip club when the flurry of bills allegedly hit a woman in the eye and caused her harm. 

According to TMZ, the alleged assault took place back in August during his album release party. According to reports, ”Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant’s left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye.”

Trey Songz was reportedly arrested in September and has a court date in February for the misdemeanor assault charges.

Chapter V, the album Trey Songz was celebrating at the release party, became his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, selling 135,000 copies in its first week.
