The rising Atlanta-based rapper, Trinidad James, polarized the hip-hop community with his “All Gold Everything” video last year. He has now polished the song with a remix that features heavies from his hometown.
The update is an all-Atlanta affair with Young Jeezy, T.I. and 2 Chainz backing the upstart. While Trinidad raised eyebrows with his flamboyant sense of style, Chainz finishes his verse with a high fashion name-check.
“This Versace, that Versace and this Versace, too/ I got killers watching, n*****s watching and b*****s watching me too/ I’m on lean on loud and I got my own lane/ You need to mind your own business, it’s 2 Chainz and Trinidad James”

In December, Trinidad announced his deal with Def Jam after being sought after by many competing companies.
He became a lightening rod for rap critics after he released the video for “All Gold Everything,” displaying his flamboyant style of dress and simple rhyme pattern. The Youtube clip captured more than 3 million views at the time of his signing and it touched off a chorus of criticism. His camp promised to move beyond the detractors.
“Trinidad started rapping last year and then began taking it seriously,” his manager previously told Radio.com/CBS Local. “People are entitled to their own opinion, everything is not for everybody. Trinidad has his own lane. There are other artists who have their own lanes. There are people who love and hate it. That means they are payng attention. In a situation so new it’s a great thing. Just to know that people are paying attention lets us know we are doing something right.”
