After beginning his craved tour two hours behind schedule in the UK on Monday night, Justin Bieber took his apology to his favorite social media outlet — Twitter.

British fans and irritated parents were unhappily tweeting from inside the London venue as the crowd began to boo an hour before the young pop star hit the stage. Bieber was supposed to start at 8:30 p.m. London time, but the opening acts performed up until 8:50 p.m. — and it wasn’t until 10:20 p.m. that The Bieb appeared onstage.

“Last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so,” he wrote Tuesday in one tweet, following up with another:

“I was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I’m proud of that.”

Bieber said Tuesday night’s show at the O2 Arena, located in the British capital, will be “amazing” and, more importantly, “will run on time.”

It has definitely been a rough couple of days for Bieber. He was accused of trying to sneak 14-year-old Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith, into a London nightclub for Bieber’s 19th birthday celebration.
