Joe Budden is not one to talk regrets. But the reality rapper-turned-reality star recently revealed the one thing on Love & Hip Hop (Season 3) he wished would have turned out differently. But don’t call it a regret; he doesn’t.
On Love & Hip Hop (Season 3), Budden’s storyline follows him on his journey as a recovering addict and spotlight his complicated love life that includes his present girlfriend (Kaylin) and the one he refuses to let go (Tahiry). In one episode, he found himself playing referee as the two came to blows.
“Are there moments that I would have wanted to go differently? Certainly,” he told Radio.com. “I wish that Kaylin and Tahiri wouldn’t have ended up scrapping on TV. But the reality is I did all I could to control what I could in that situation to try to make it go a different way and it didn’t. I controlled what I could and that’s me. I’m powerless over what they do.”
Outside of the fight, he insisted the show’s plots are authentic and he was not pushed into any beef or story line that was not genuine. “What you see is what it is,” Budden said.
