The Game’s ‘Obama’ Tattoo Artist Draws The Line: ‘He’s Running Out Of Room’
Tattoo artist Carlos Macedo, the man behind the Barack Obama portrait inked across Game‘s abdomen, is busy working on the rapper’s next set of body portraits. While the presidential tattoo is still under construction, Macedo recently revealed the other figures Game has outlined on his flesh.
“I’m working on a portrait of Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X for Game,” Macedo told Radio.com. “He wanted the two to interact but he’s running out of room. He has to work with what he has.”
The Ali tattoo is partly inked on his inner arm and Malcolm X’s image is on the back of his arm waiting to be filled in.
“Those tattoos are in real painful areas,” Macedo explained. “I try not to put him in a bunch of pain in one session. With the Obama tattoo, he wanted it all finished at once.”
Like many other prominent rappers–Jay-Z, Ludacris, Young Jeezy–Game has been an outspoken proponent of the first African-American president. But on Wednesday (March 14), he one-upped his peers when an image of his Obama tattoo hit the net.
