Beyoncé has released the remix to the controversial “Bow Down/I Been On,” in which she features a cast of rappers from Houston. While she has received flack over her bold message that instructs “b******” to bow down, Eve said Beyoncé is well within the parameters of her throne.
“Beyoncé is on such a level that she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone at all,” Eve told Radio.com. “That’s why some people don’t like that record. If you listen to the lyrics and some of the things she’s saying, she definitely is coming at some specific person, which is ‘Why do you even care.’ But at the same time, she’s a bossy b****. Do it.”
When Beyoncé dropped the original song in March, singer Keyshia Cole was among the loudest critics. “First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now b****** better Bow,” Cole tweeted.
