Wiz Khalifa Sues Promoter Over Cancelled GMU Concert
Hip-Hop artist, Wiz Khalifa, is taking legal action to handle a recent dispute with concert promoters — and he’s suing for $1 million!
The concert promoters cancelled the planned performance in the final hours without paying paying Khalifa, TMZ reports.
The “Work Hard, Play Hard” rapper claims the executives at It’s My Party, Inc. booked him to perform at George Mason University in the D.C. area. The show was planned for last December, but the promoters cancelled the show without paying his $85,000 fee.
Khalifa claims he was entitled to a share of the concert’s profits, according to TMZ.
Khalifa is now married to model Amber Rose, who recently gave birth to their son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
