Reese Witherspoon Cancels TV Appearance After Arrest
UPDATE: Reese Witherspoon has canceled her recent television appearances following her run-in with authorities.
Last Friday, Witherspoon was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge along with her husband, CAA agent James Toth.
While Toth faces DUI charges, Witherspoon has been ostracized for her alleged comments to police — most notably saying, “Do you know my name?” and “You’re about to find out who I am.”
Witherspoon later apologized for her comments, saying she had “one drink too many.”
The actress missed out on her scheduled appearances on “Good Morning America” and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
Her co-star in the movie, “Mud,” Matthew McConaughey, took her place on GMA, then went on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and “The View.”
Witherspoon is a 37-year old Academy Award winning actress, and perhaps best known for her role in the hit film, “Legally Blonde.”
