Robin Thicke Vowed Not To Cut His Hair Until He Heard His Song On The Radio

For many musicians, the idea of hearing their song on the radio is a distant dream. But not for Robin Thicke. Having penned and produced numerous hits for other artists as a teenager, by the time he was in his early 20s he was ready to hear his own voice on the radio. In fact, he even made a vow not to cut his hair until he heard his song on the radio.
“When I was about 24 I released my first single ‘When I Get You Alone,’ and I had long hair down to my shoulders,” he told Radio.com. “People say, ‘Hey why did you cut your hair after the video?’ It was because I had told myself I wouldn’t cut my hair until I heard my song on the radio.”
