Notoriously Anti-Internet Prince Gets on Twitter Bandwagon

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Looks like the artist formerly known as “the artist formerly known as Prince” is finally embracing something he has dismissed in the past… the Internet.

On Tuesday night, the pop artist began Tweeting from his band’s Twitter account, @3rdeyegirl.

In a July 2010 interview with The Daily Mirror, a British tabloid, Prince was quoted as saying “The internet’s complely over” and “… all these computers and digital gadgets are no good.”

Still, it is not clear whether the novice tone in the music icon’s first few tweets is genuine or sarcastic. Check them out below:
