Eminem must be a fan of the NFL. The Detroit-based rapper mentions Russell Wilson, a few teams and a handful of other players, who stop short of being household names, on his new album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.”

On the track “Legacy,” Eminem shouts out Brian Dawkins, who spent 13 seasons playing safety for the Philadelphia Eagles before closing out his career with the Denver Broncos in 2011.

Em also mentions the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons and a Miami Dolphins franchise that is currently embattled in a bullying scandal involving Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin.

Before rounding out his football soiree on the track, he cleverly, yet profanely, mentions Dick Butkus and Brian Baldinger.

Here are the lyrics:

Me against the world so what, I’m Brian Dawkins
Versus the whole 0-16 Lions offense
So bring on the Giants, Falcons and Miami Dolphins
It’s the body bag game (expletive deleted), I’m supplying coffins
Cause you (Dick Butkus expletive deleted), bunch of Brian Baldingers

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is referenced in “The Monster,” Eminem’s collaboration with Rhianna.

Here are the lyrics:

It’s payback, Russell Wilson falling way back in the draft
Turn nothing into something, still can make that, straw into gold chump
I will spin Rumpelstiltskin in a haystack

Sorry, Redskins fans. There were no mentions of Robert Griffin III or the burgundy and gold on the album.
