One Redskins fan may have stopped an anti-Skins message from circling the beltway further, after bringing an “F RG3” license plate to the attention of Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles, on Twitter.
Twitter user @andy_boothe, identified as a diehard Skins’ fan in his bio, first tweeted the picture above.
And then the exchange below ensued.
For clarity, the DMV would eventually tweet a link to Virginia’s vanity plate guidelines.[tweet https://twitter.com/VirginiaDMV/status/402791490289954816 width=”420″] [tweet https://twitter.com/andy_boothe/status/402793097111023616 width=”420″] [tweet https://twitter.com/VirginiaDMV/status/402796505339539456 width=”420″]
This exchange obviously didn’t sit well with Cowboys fans, after Sarah Kogod brought attention to it in the Sports Bog Tuesday morning.[tweet https://twitter.com/ThaOutlaws/status/402861988230881280 width=”420″]
So this will probably go on forever until the DMV throws its state-funded hands in the air and bans all vanity plates, whatsoever.
