LANHAM, Md. (WPGC) — Mike Shanahan has won 11 games fewer than he’s lost since taking over the Washington Redskins in 2010.
Outside of a first place finish in the NFC East last year, Washington has finished dead last in each of Shanahan’s two other seasons and appear well on their way to take up residency there once again.
The lofty expectations of the defending division champions heading into this season are long gone with only disappointment swirling around a team that is now five games below .500.
Speculation has begun the remaining five games on the schedule could be the last coached by Shanahan in Washington.
