While promoting this latest film Fast & Furious 7 in Dubai, Tyrese ran into what he claims is his number one fan. The fan showed off his bright yellow and black striped Camaro donning a sticker of the Transformers insignia for the famous movie character Bumblebee. But what took singer Tyrese for an emotional loop was the small inscription on the back bumper that paid tribute to the late actor, Paul Walker.
“Dude I Almost had You, R.I.P Paul Walker 1973-2013” it reads in dark black lettering. Tyrese posted the video to his Facebook page early Wednesday, January 8 explaining his emotional day stumbling across this tribute.
In late November 2013, Paul Walker was fatally wounded in a car crash when the Porsche Carrera GT his friend was driving lost control and hit a post in Los Angeles. According to autopsy reports, Walker and the driver were instantly killed in the fiery crash. Producers of the Fast & Furious franchise have opted not to kill off his character in the movie and will instead retire Walker’s character Brian O’Connor.
Vin Diesel also posted a touching tribute to the late actor, an 18-minute video tribute video created by Diesel himself.
