Forbes Crowns Oprah as One of the Most Influential Celebs

Forbes has released its annual list of the most influential celebrities of 2014.  While the year has only begun, Forbes turned to E-Poll Market Research which ranks more than 6,600 celebrities based on 46 different personality, likability and awareness attributes.  This year, the list includes a handful of directors, a couple talk show hosts and even more surprising faces.

Topping the list is director Steven Spielberg who has directed some of the most famous movies in America. He’s the mastermind behind Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Back to the Future and many more.  But Spielberg isn’t the only director on this year’s list.  Star Wars director George Lucas took the third spot while Ron Howard and Martin Scorsese came in fourth and fifth respectively.

Other names on the list include daytime talk show host Oprah Winfrey, acclaimed daytime influencer Dr. Oz and Barbara Walters.

The top 10 are as follows:

3. George Lucas
4. Ron Howard
5. Martin Scorsese
6. Dr. Oz
7. Barbara Walters
8. Bono
9. Stan Lee
10. Rush Limbaugh
