Kanye West is no stranger when it comes to making headlines. Most shows on his current Yeezus tour have been an outlet for the rapper to voice his frustrations about the media, his image, his relationship with Kim Kardashian and being a father. On Feb. 15, he made a 12-minute soliloquy about the media, citing they hate his relationship with a white woman.
During a show in New Jersey this past weekend, the rapper spoke up about his relationship with fiancée Kim Kardashian and the alleged fear the media has about his personal life. “Write that… headline when you try to make me look like a maniac or an animal, because you afraid of interracial relationships, because you afraid of the future, because you afraid of a rapper that was raised by two educated parents,” he says to the crowd at the Prudential Center in Newark.
This isn’t the first time West has used the stage as a soapbox. He recently spoke up about DJs who diss him but always ask for interviews, the fashion industry, SNL and much more.
