The Vivienne Westwood hat made famous by rapper and producer Pharrell Williams has a new home as of March 2.
To raise money for his charity, From One Hand to Another, he put the hat on eBay for a week. But the auction winner was a big surprise to all, as the Arby’s restaurant group paid $44,100 for ownership.
Sunday night, Williams tweeted a ‘thank you’ to whoever bought his sky-high hat. Soon, Arby’s responded.
The hat gained major attention at the 2014 GRAMMY Awards for replicating the same look of the Arby’s logo. Thanking the rapper for getting their hat back, Arby’s will now have a piece of GRAMMY history.
