Yesterday, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit Los Angeles, Calif. in the 6 a.m. hour. Of course, morning newscasts were reporting live during the shakeup, including KTLA-TV Channel 5 News.

News anchor Chris Schauble gave new meaning to being caught off-guard with his reaction to the earthquake.

He and his co-anchor Megan Henderson tried to get their bearings as the studio began to shake and the lighting rig started swaying.

The footage went viral instantly appearing on several news channels, blog sites, and all over social media outlets.  Both of them handled themselves well under pressure, instantly moving beneath the news desk to prepare for any damages from the quake.
