Ma$e, who is the Pastor at El Elyon Church in Atlanta, Ga., is under scrutiny from his congregation after reports surfaced that the rapper-turned-pastor secretly filed for divorce and has been in the studio with rappers.
Worshippers believe he is leading a double life and is a hypocrite, dealing in the sins he preaches about during service.
Some members of his church spoke with TMZ and admit they believe he isn’t practicing what he preaches, spending hours in the studio with rappers and ignoring his marriage issues. According to sources, he is still preaching about the sanctity of marriage and a successful marriage while ignoring that he filed for divorce earlier this year.
The final straw with parishioners is Ma$e’s feature on a new song called “Tricky Situation,” a song that brags about hooking up with an engaged woman.
