Trick Daddy Arrested for Cocaine & Firearm Possession
Miami rapper Trick Daddy was arrested on Thursday night after police found cocaine and a handgun in his Miramar, Fla. home.
Real name Maurice Young, the rapper was arrested around 10 p.m. when the Broward County Drug Task Force arrived with a “sniff warrant” to search his home. As Young was leaving in his car, police stopped him and arrested him.
He cooperated with authorities, admitting he had powder cocaine and marijuana roaches. Cops found one gram of powder and a 9mm Sig Sauer plus ammunition in the home.
Young is a convicted felon, his record showing past narcotic trafficking, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of cocaine.
He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and driving with a suspended license.
He has since been released on bond.
