Chris Brown has touched down in the DMV on Monday after a five-day trip from Los Angeles via Con-Air.
The singer is being housed at Neck Regional Jail in Virginia until his trail date on April 21. The jail is located two hours south of Washington, D.C., near Richmond, Va.
An administrator from the jail confirms that Brown will not receive special treatment and is in limited general population with other inmates.
While housed in Los Angeles, Brown spent 23 hours in solitary confinement with access to library books and gym equipment. In Virginia, he is allowed daily showers, meals with the general population, television and phone privileges and access to the library.
During the five-day trek, the singer wore chains around his ankles, waist and arms for most of the trip while Con-Air picked up and dropped off other prisoners around the country.
Brown will take the stand on April 21 while his bodyguard’s case will begin on April 17.
