“Scandal” star Columbus Short is the proud owner of a restraining order after his wife, Tuere Short, claims they got into a violent altercation on April 7.
According to documents, Tuere claims Columbus entered her room and pretended to hit her with a bottle of wine before pouring its contents all over her. Then, she claims, he retrieved a knife from the kitchen, pinned her down on the couch and began choking her.
Even further, she claims he forced her to play a game of “Truth or Truth” saying he would stab her in the leg if she lied to him.
The game consisted of him listing men he believed Tuere cheated on him with but as she denied the claims, he allegedly brought the knife to her throat and threatened to kill her, then himself. When she tried to escape, he supposedly slashed her car tire.
The restraining order states Columbus must move out of the Short home and police had to oversee the move.
On April 15, Tuere filed for divorce from Columbus, seeking sole custody of their 2-year-old daughter.
This isn’t the first legal issue Columbus has seen this month. He was arrested in March after allegedly attacking a man in Los Angeles.
