Go Behind The Scenes of DJ Flexx’s ‘Polo & Chuck’ Video Shoot

by. Jerome Smith

DJ Flexx and hundreds of WPGC listeners gathered to shoot the official video for “Polo & Chuck” at the Howard Theatre a couple weeks ago and we have a sneak peek at the video just for you.  The song is a tribute to the Godfather of go-go, Chuck Brown, and the Bounce Beat King, “Polo” of TCB.  IamDonJuan, producer JS aka The Best and 4DC Music Group joined DJ Flexx onstage for filming.

Reginald “Polo” Burwell died at age 42 from a severe brain hemorrhage in 2013.  He remained in a coma for three years until his death.  Chuck Brown died at age 75 from complications with sepsis as a result of pneumonia in 2012.

The video was filmed by House Studio and is set to be released by Memorial Day. If you didn’t get a chance to hang out with us at the Howard Theatre, check out what you missed and watch this behind the scenes video.

If you want the song for yourself, get it here.
