Kanye West is getting married this weekend, but more importantly an unnamed source is revealing more details about Yeezy’s next album, due to drop this year.

According to an anonymous source in BillboardKanye’s follow-up to Yeezus currently has 12 songs and out of the six this person heard it’s “mostly a mixture of soul samples and tamed ‘Yeezus’-esque darkness… nothing abrasive.”

This new report falls in line with what producer Evian Christ said in an interview. “I’ve got to get home and write an Otis Redding–style beat for him,” he said. “[West] e-mailed last night. He wants something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep.”

According to reports, Kanye has worked with a whole slew of producers including Q-Tip, Rick Rubin, Mike Will, James Faunterloy, James Blake, DJ Mustard and Tyga.

The album has reportedly been recorded in both Los Angeles and Florence, Italy, the same city where Kanye and Kim are supposedly having their wedding.

There’s no official release date set for this upcoming release, but maybe he’ll even pull a Beyoncé and drop his album before he goes on his honeymoon. Yeezy season approaching, better be on your toes.
