Chuck D Blasts Iggy Azalea for Racism in Photo, Not Realizing It’s a Fake

You know how you shouldn’t believe every photo shared on Facebook? Looks like someone forgot to mention that to Chuck D.

The hip hop legend got incensed on Twitter yesterday (July 9) evening. He shared a screen shot of a photo that appeared to be posted by Iggy Azalea alongside B.o.B., T.I. and Drake with the caption, “Me and My N—-‘s<3.”

“A new straight path to slavery,” he wrote. “Here comes a endorsed sanctioned CORPlantation artist with A line straight out of 1853.”

The problem? That post was a fake.

All Hip Hop confirms that the original photo of the group was posted to B.o.B.‘s Facebook page in 2012, in celebration of Azalea’s collaboration with T.I. and B.o.B. on the track “M.D.M. (Million Dollar Misfits).”
