Kim Kardashian is famous for putting her face and name on just about anything. So, it wasn’t surprising when she came out with an iPhone game centered around the user trying to become a celebrity called “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.”
According to TMZ, Kardashian will make 45% of the profits from the game and it’s projected by Bloomberg to rake in nearly $200 million by the end of the year. With expenses in the $10 million range, she could walk away with a staggering $85 million, nearly three times what she made last year in all her ventures combined.
The game amasses profits by having users pay money to boost their celebrity status in the fake world. Sounds familiar.
“In addition to her in-game audio commentary, [Kim Kardashian] provided a significant amount of creative feedback,” says app developer Glu Games’ Niccolo de Masi. “She hand-selected the majority of the outfits, accessories, hairstyles, and other in-game items – and her deep involvement continues as we roll out updates and new content – from the aesthetics to new locations and features.”
The new mom’s income mixed with husband Kanye West’s assures baby North West will have a very fruitful future.
By the way, the game is free in the app store.
