The scandals continue with actor Columbus Short after a judge issued an arrest warrant for being a no-show at court.

He was ordered to appear in court on Wednesday, July 30, but didn’t show up because he had a pre-scheduled appearance – in the Caribbean.  The festival, called Fantasy Barbados, booked Short to appear at a fundraiser on Aug. 2 and Short left early to attend.

Short’s appearance in court was on behalf of the domestic violence charges as his wife is asking for more protection from the actor.

Interestingly enough, Short had another court appearance the day before and actually appeared after being late to the hearing.

Currently, the actor is mired in legal trouble after his wife reported he threatened her life and held a knife to her throat.  Short has been let go from his ABC hit show “Scandal.”
