Beyoncé’s Father to Host a Class on How to Be Beyoncé
Yes, you read that correctly. Mathew Knowles, father and former manager of superstar Beyoncé, is hosting a day-long bootcamp to teach interested people how to make it in the entertainment industry.
Houston Community College Central will host the bootcamp on Sept. 13 and will, as the website states, “Allow attendees to tap Knowles’ vast entertainment and music business expertise and leave with real information, contacts and strategies for their own successful entertainment endeavors.”
The course is called “The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In,” which will allow attendees to ask questions and gain valuable information from the man who jumpstarted Bey’s career.
The $295 to $350 course, depending on when you register, is open to basically everyone interested in the entertainment industry, including, “current or aspiring entertainers, songwriters, musicians, composers, writers, producers, managers, sound or engineering technicians, publicists, attorneys, financial planners, fashion stylists, hair dressers, photographers, editors, accountants and a myriad of other entertainment-industry hopefuls.”
After $350, lunch isn’t even provided.
