What were you doing at 18-years-old? Studying for finals? Working a part-time retail job? Deejaying for Ginuwine?
Meet DJ Young Music, the newest and youngest deejay to be added to the WPGC mix show lineup. Aside from guest mixing Wednesdays at 10 p.m. with Tony Redz a.k.a Mr. 24/7, the teenage prodigy is also the official DJ for R&B artist Ginuwine and opens regularly for GRAMMY-nominated group TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine, Tank). With his debut single “Right Here,” DJ Young Music is a triple threat–deejay, recording artist and music producer.
At such a ripe age, DJ Young Music has had more musical milestones than some of his older counterparts, like spinning at the launch party for Diddy’s Revolt TV or at Super Bowl XLIX for Nicki Minaj’s official after party.
When DJ Young Music is not travelling across the nation to perform at the hottest clubs, the Prince George’s County high school student maintains the honor roll while studying to graduate.
